In 2023, Mike Comeau worked as a captain for Red Top Boats in Boston, a very busy water taxi company. He learned a lot about how this business works and he saw a need for it in Portsmouth.
So in 2024, Mike decided to launch Portsmouth Water Taxi, LLC.

He bought a 25′ ROBALO center console with all new electronics and a 300 hp Suzuki motor and transformed it from a fishing boat to a safe and comfortable pleasure boat.

The boat is appropriately named “Water Taxi”.
It comfortably seats up to 6 passengers and meets or exceeds all USCG safety requirements.

PWT offers taxi service by reservation and on-request from docks, moorings and anchorages .. your private dock, too,
if it’s within our service area.

Captain Mike has been boating on these waters for many years and he knows Portsmouth Harbor, the Piscataqua River and vicinity very well, in all tides and weather conditions. He has a decent knowledge of area history, fun facts and information about Portsmouth.
You are in good hands with Captain Mike at the helm.

Portsmouth Water Taxi will also be offering scenic cruises and private charters for up to two hours. BYOB and food.
A large cooler full of ice will be provided.
